A few weeks ago we went to Baldock to visit Mr D’s dad who was down house sitting, and before going I made some enquiries of things we could do to keep Chloe entertained for a couple of hours and come across Logan’s Den – http://www.logans-den.co.uk/
It is situated in Baldock High Street and is such a great idea for a play centre. It is basically a café with a soft play section in it. I was actually amazed at how much they had in the small space.
There is a 2 level soft play area for the bigger children, I would say 6 is probably the eldest as it is not the biggest area, and a smaller section for babies.
When we arrived it had just opened so Chloe had the chance to play in both sections. The only thing I would say about the part for the older children is that it is quite dark and Chloe wasn’t keen to be in there on her own, but once other Children come along she was happy to play.
The café itself has a wide section of food and drink available. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. It was also really cheap. For Chloe to play and 3 coffees was £9.
I would 100% go back when we are in the area, however I would go early as within half hour of us arriving it had filled up, and I can imagine on a weekend it is packed.
If you are in the area and are looking for something to do for a few hours then check out Logan’s Den.
