Today I’m broken

Today has broken me!

Miss Chloe has been hard work today, I don’t know if it is the heat or she is not used to me being at home all week but everything has been a battle today.

There is been a ridiculous amount of full blown tantrums over absolutely nothing.

I asked for a kiss and got a smack in the face with a toy. I asked her to eat her dinner and got full on attitude and eye rolling.

I know it’s hard being 3 years old and she is pushing boundaries and it’s all just a phase but today has broken me.

Today is the first day in a long time where I actually feel like parenting is hard work and I could cry.

I know tomorrow is a new day and all of today will be forgotten so for tonight I am going to enjoy the sleepy cuddles from my girl and remember the kiss she planted on my scratched nose before she went to sleep and look forward to a new day.

  4. Oh gosh, three year olds can be a handful and a half. I hope your days get better and relationship with her grows. This is such a sweet time in her life as well as yours, so don’t wish it away! Sending love your way!

  6. As the mommy of 4 kiddos, that age is a handful! (((cyberhugs))) We all have those days with our kiddos. Those little kisses and snuggles are so precious, and *almost* always make up for them. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
