Our week 7/8 – 13/8/2017

Wahoo Mr sunshine is finally back.

The week has been pretty quiet with work and nursery. On Tuesday Miss Chloe & Mr D had a daddy/daughter day over our local park which is such a great place as it has a sandpit and two playgrounds and the best thing is it is hardly ever busy!

I think I am finally on the correct medication for my hernia and fingers crossed with my diet under control I can get a bit of normality back to my life and enjoy eating again.

Yesterday me & Miss Chloe headed to Beach East Stratford with Auntie Lisa and Lizzie http://www.queenelizabetholympicpark.co.uk/whats-on/events/2017/07/beach-east It is right in front of the Olympic stadium. As the weather was a bit overcast the beach was empty.

For me and Chloe to get in cost £16 which was for a junior pass, this pass covered unlimited rides on height appropriate rides. I of course was roped in to going on some rides and after a disastrous ride on the bumper cars I can safely say I am doing the public a favour by not having a licence (I may have been the only one going backwards!)

The beach area was lovely and clean and the girls loved it in the splash pool. We decided to eat there instead of headed in to Westfield & there was plenty of choice. The girls had nuggets and chips and I had chips with burger sauce and auntie Lisa had a chicken wrap all of which was freshly cooked to order.

We spent the majority of the day at the beach and then headed into Westfield, however as we left so did half of the Olympic stadium so we got caught up in all of people traffic headed back into Westfield. By the time we got home after a quick pitstop at McDonald’s for dinner it was almost 7pm and we were shattered.

Today has been a pj day eating and watching Moana (repeatedly) and just being lazy which is much needed for us both.

Mr D has headed to work and once madam is in bed I am gonna hopefully catch up on some TV and maybe some of the treats I have hidden!

Hope you have had a good week.

Mummy Em x

  1. Sounds like a fun week. Our local fair is £20 for unlimited rides and with 2 children that makes it quite expensive which is a shame! I’m all for park time tho, free fun is always best.
